Feeding South Dakota is excited to announce a final gift matching opportunity for 2016. "We are always so blessed by our community's generosity during the holiday season," Matt Gassen CEO, Feeding South Dakota, said . "This end-of-year matching donation means that everyone's support goes twice as far. We really can't say thank you enough, not just for ourselves but for the children, families and seniors we serve.
Tax-deductible, year-end donations help support Feeding South Dakota's hunger relief programs all year long. Because of this matching gift opportunity, every dollar donated online before the end of 2016 will provide 10 meals to individuals in South Dakota.
The reality of hunger in South Dakota is that one in every eight individuals in our state is at risk of going hungry. Even more frightening is that one in every six children struggle with getting regular meals on a daily basis Feeding South Dakota urges community members to consider giving a gift to help provide meals to the more than 191,000 individuals across who are helped by Feeding South Dakota each year.
