SPEARFISH - The Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) hosted Make-A-Difference Week food drive for the second time and collected
1,520 pounds of food and $160 to donate to the Spearfish Community Food Pantry.  RSVP also collected $95 and 20 pounds of food for the
Belle Fourche Food Pantry.  Overall, RSVP donated 1,540 pounds and $255.
The communities came together to make this donation possible.  BHSU  hosted a food drive all week in the Student Union Atrium and the BHSU
Residence Halls.  Spearfish High School hosted a food drive recently when students could wear pajamas to school by donating $2 or a canned food
item.  SHS raised $90 of the $160 and several boxes of food.  RSVP volunteers collected food at the Spearfish Safeway and the Belle Fourche's
Lynn's Dakota Mart.  BHSU and Spearfish High School students also trick-or-treated in the Spearfish community for canned food items on Thursday.

Also, BHSU A'viands and Spearfish Lueder's Food Center graciously donated food.

RSVP wants to extend a huge thank you to A'viands for their massive donation and thanks to all the RSVP volunteers, students, and community
members who helped collect and donate food.
