Spearfish Food Pantry receives BMS Community Service Award

Behavior Management Systems (BMS) of Spearfish has honored the Spearfish Pantry with their Community Service Award for "providing outstanding help and assistance to our clients...and the cause of mental illness."  May is Mental Health Awareness month.  BMS counselor Colleen Casavan said "The nutritious items provided to many of our clients is a greatly appreciated necessity.  Not only do our clients get needed food, but they are treated with dignity and respect."  BMR staff shown here are  (left-to-right):  Samantha Seitz, Kim Olson, Dana Studt, and Colleen Casavan. Receiving the award plaque is pantry president Bob Suwyn.  The award was made during the May meeting of the Pantry Board of Directors. (Thanks to Debbie Siemonsma of BMS for the photo!)
